Business Development Analyst - Early Stage
Main responsibilities
The position, part of an innovative and dynamic Corporate Strategy & Finance team, will contribute to the mission of fostering strategic partnerships with a global scope.
The BD Analyst will support the BD team in M&A/ Licensing activities (Scouting, Assessment and Deal negotiation) in the Early Stage Assets.
- Identifying the key Targets: Companies / Products / Assets;
- Focus on internal and external stakeholders’ network (i.e. building, expanding, consolidating and updating);
- Maintain and regularly update BD mapping and related platforms/tools;
- Support in the business cases preparation:
- Tools & deliverables, Decks & Docs (presentations, models, etc.)
- Business case – Economics / PPT
- Termsheets / contracts understanding
- Support on Project & Team management: Projects planning/management, Data room management (IN/OUT), Due Diligence management/coordination (IN/OUT).
Candidate profile
- Master’s Degree in Economics or Engineering;
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage is considered a plus;
- 3-5 years of related experience in the Pharma Business or in Consulting with direct exposure to financial processes, budgeting, planning/forecasting within the pharmaceutical sector;
- Deep understanding of the Pharma/BioTech competitive arena and market evolving scenarios [e.g Competitive landscape - market & pipeline];
- Ability to understand and actively contribute to the management of a Business Case
- Ability to conduct research and analyze data - Ability to analyze market trends and competitor behaviors;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Ability to prioritize and apply critical reasoning;
