International Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts
Main responsibilities
The role will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a broad range of international commercial agreements, including supply, manufacturing, confidentiality, agency and distribution contracts. The position will work closely with the business and Senior Management, providing pragmatic legal solutions in a dynamic and international environment.
Candidate profile
- European qualified lawyer with around 4–7 years of post-qualified experience gained while working in private practice at a leading law firm, or in an international company.
- Solid experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts at an international level (licensing, distribution, sponsorship and R&D)
- Languages: Strong command of English. Spanish and or Italian will be a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate laterally and upwardly with ease.
- Project management skills and an open, flexible response to change.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, growth environments and a strong reputation for delivering results.
- Ability to think globally about the interest of the overall business and not exclusively focus on the needs/interests of the local marketplace.
- Excellent communication skills and reputation for being a valued partner to business clients: quick thinker, with a clear and concise communication style.
