Export Manager Asia

Main responsibilities

The new comer will be reporting to the owner of the company and significantly contribute to the shaping and implementation of the commercial strategy, with particular focus on markets in Asia Pacific. She/he will be leveraging on existing as well as new partners abroad, various sales channels such as Distributors, Department Stores, Retailes. She/he will be streamlining actions from within the company toward the best Customer satisfacion.

Candidate profile

  • Sound international sales experience with Made in Italy products for B2C markets (Textile,  Furniture and Household products are a nice to have), paired with proven competency in export-related matters and processes
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent skills in intercultural communication and negotiation 
  • Effectiveness in driving the international agenda of sales, by preparing and managing meetings at various levels, and storytelling the company’s products, values, and legacy   
  • Sound leadership skills and ability to drive and develop the sales team
  • Passion for nurturing long-lasting relationships with Clients and sales network across the borders
  • Understanding of competitors, monitoring market trends in the Region
  • Ability in tranfering the market/Clients inputs into the internal organization (design, manufacturing,  sales, logistics, etc.) and shaping successful proposals to Clients
  • Proficiency in Italian, English, and other foreign Asian languages (Chinese is a nice to have).
