Global L&D Senior Manager

Main responsibilities

The role, reporting to the Global Head of People Development, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, is responsible for implementing the Group HR development strategies and programs, to ensure that managers and employees have the right skills and knowledge to meet the organization's business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the global talent management strategy, in collaboration with line managers/Local People Development managers to design and deliver the most appropriate development plans and activities.
  • Propose, design and execute succession plans and career development programs providing expertise and advice to line managers.
  • Maintains updated the Group’s Competence Model, ensuring that all people processes are consistent with it.
  • Manage projects to ensure the appropriate development and career internal progression for the Group’s talent pools, to maximize the retention of talents within the Group.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communication in the promotion of the Group’s Branding
  • Monitor the approved budget to ensure the execution of the annual development and plans.
  • Lead and consolidate talent processes at the global level, such as performance management and talent evaluation.
  • Design, manage, and monitor listening initiatives at a global level
  • Develop and implement learning strategies aligned with business priorities and organizational needs
  • Support change and transformation management with coherent activities

Candidate profile

Education and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent background.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in an international HR development role in multinational companies
  • Previous experience in consulting will be considered a preferred qualification

Professional knowledge

  • Knowledge of HR development, performance and learning processes, tools and international best practices
  • Experience of successfully driving change and transformational programs.
  • Understanding of organizational culture on performance and productivity.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources processes with particular reference to Development&Training.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee complex projects while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and objectives, with a strong focus on problem-solving and cross-functional leadership
  • English fluent
